On July 21st, 2013, my beloved cat Molly passed away. She had been my affectionate and loyal companion for nine happy years, and I was completely unprepared for her sudden death. In need of an outlet for my grief, I sat down to write her a letter. I planned on composing a note to keep forever and to read in years to come, worried my memories and emotions would fade like an old photograph on the mantel, its vibrant colours bleached out by the sun.
